Loobies - Barrie

We have been in loobies in recent years. during these Covid periods they have only taken off and have been added to the terrace. we ordered the liver dinner (excellent) and brought it back to our own carriabe hills resort.

We thought we were late lunch. had the special blue jay burger (burger with blue cheese,) burger, chicken finger and fish and chips. the food was great. service was friendly!

We have been going to loobies for years, every time we stay close to our resort. we had a fair meal there for breakfast. we were quite disappointed that they can't open when they are allowed. no entry, so no washroom. access, if necessary. that's not so cool if most of us want to wash after eating. so we ordered in the window, although we couldn't read the menu very well. (window dirty, menu crippled and slips down the frame) we ordered a roasted blt and a roasted western sandwich with many green paprika . we thought we would eat on the picnic table outside, but if the guy beside us constantly fluctuated flying away trying to eat his breakfast sandwich, we decided that we had our breakfast back to our resort somewhere else, we were not happy to hand over 2 sandwiches packed in paper. that's all. no serviettes, no s p, no ketchup, not even a styrofoam container to carry them. what! and for that we have paid the full price plus drinking money. zero service. then we get all the way back to our resort, open our sandwiches and holy smokes. asggy as hell and my sandwich had a lot of pfeffer not green paprika as I ordered it was black pfeffer over everything and it was over the tip loaded with it. I couldn't even eat it. only one bite and I had to spit it out. Moreover, the part they gave in this sandwich was quite generous, but not now. I could have made this ashamed sandwich home with two eggs. What are you going to do? that was a terrible mistake to hire someone. that was completely careless in her part and if they had said the kitchen correctly over many green paprika, we would not write that bad review. I would have forgotten all the others that you ordered this month when your doors are still closed. but now we never give them our business again. you did not care about the customers this month. it was very obvious for all of us.

The family had a delicious fish and chip dinner last night. Eat was perfectly cooked, and cake for dessert fantastic. bonus points for the environmentally friendly take out packaging. we will be coming back

I don’t understand the lineups out the door for this place! We went many times and left because we didn’t want to wait. But before Christmas we thought we’d try again. We waited 45 mins for a table only to be told that breakfast ended...5 minutes ago. Lunch, then, was mediocre. It’s a tiny spot with only a few tables. We won’t wait in line again.
