Fionn Maccool's - Barrie

The experience was quite average, especially considering the limited choices in Simcoe County's red zone. The French onion soup was decent, but the mini Yorkshire puddings were a bit dry and would have benefited from more gravy. The Jameson honey garlic bites were flavorful, but it's worth noting they are made with dark meat, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. The mini quesadilla was also average; they added chicken that I didn't request, and I ended up being charged for it. Lastly, I recommend skipping dessert, as it was below par.

This is a fantastic spot for a meal! They have added non-alcoholic beer to their menu. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the deep-fried pickles, and both were excellent!

Excellent pub food! The menu features some unique items. You definitely have to try the thick calamari—it's a highlight!
