com pho asia2 - Barrie

Too much MSG!! Tasteless Pho. Bad experience will not be back. Both parties had to go to the bathroom afterwards.

See something new online and hopefully delicious on our way home from a wedding. It was a really tasty and pretty experience. The staff was friendly and not intrusive. The Pho was nice and hot and the add-ins were fresh and... tasteful. If I'm back in this area in the future, I'd definitely look over again.

My wife and I have come to this place for about 5 years when we are on holiday. We drive all the way from Wasaga Beach or Collingwood to get our fixed Vietnamese food. In the past we liked this place and enjoyed it very much. My wife is Vietnamese, so I'd say she's certainly qualified to judge the food. It rained so that a trip to Barrie and Vietnamese food was on the agenda. This time it wasn't so good. We were pretty disappointed. At first my wife ordered a Durian Milkshake at the same time that we ordered our meal and it took almost 30 minutes to get it. We just wanted to eat when it came to our table. I ordered a noodle soup with seafood and it was very small. The part was the size you would give a 6 years old. We ate in 100 of Vietnamese restaurants and that was the smallest soup bowl I saw. My wife ordered a Vermicelli court and again a very small part. The amount of Vermicelli on the plate was sad to say the least. We will not return to this place.

So nice to come by. Service was very fast. Decor is beautiful. Ordered the chicken and well made beef pho and an app. Excellent. Very casual, relaxed atmosphere. Not too loud. Good price, but Pop is skillful and we had to ask for tea. Looking for...forward, go back and try more on the menu. On Sunday it opens at 11 a.m.

This is my favourite restaurant. My wife and I stop here at least once a month. The Pho is great, the broth is the tastiest I have ever experienced. My wife alternates between pho and the Vermicelli with pork dish. I always get the #19...with the fresh spring roll appetizer.
