Velenos Restaurant and Bar

The night visions are so beautiful, the service is first class, and the fish dishes are so good. You always have a good meal here.

This restaurant is located on the lagoon and has a beautiful view of the island. They sell fresh lobsters through the kilo and the waiter went next to the fish market and brought about one for our approval. It was amazing and came with rice and vegetables. We also ordered mochajets that come out in a lava grindstone and looks like a picture from a gourmet magazine. The food needs some time, but the beers with lime cheap and the day is long. A waterfront table is a must.

That was my favorite place to eat, hands down. We had no cocktails here, just food. Excellent boobs as good price, and they don't overcook the eggs, a problem down here. One morning I asked Chile Rellenos who are not on the menu, and they were the best we had in a few years. Perfectly prepared. I hope to go back before we leave. Lesley, our waitress, is Darling and speaks excellent English. It is very helpful offer suggestions re Barra in general.

Great food great view and great prices. I love the baked shrimps. very good waiting staff. Soups and salads very well.

I went there, with a huge group probably 20 friends of my. Unfortunately to me my wife and had to seat on a different table because of the large group. For some reason the food start comming up to the other group, but to my...surprise the table where my wife and I we seated they never attended. When I ask about the other that their waiter took they simply lost it. I was very upset and desapointed of the place. Whent I start asking for answers the owner told me to stop doing a big fuzz about it, as he was being a shamed of the situation with the clients. That 's when I decided to leave, the rest of my party left the place, as they were offended of the service and discrimination that I had been part off. If you walk two more blocks you will find a restaurant that will offer you the same or better food than that place and with a better service. Oh I for got to mention I 'm Hispanic. And I have never had never been treated in that way in the states. Good luck to all of you and keep the feedback going.
