Stroubes - Baron Rouge

Good food and nice area downtown. Sit near a window and enjoy the sights of downtown while enjoy a great meal.

The restaurant was nearly empty when I visited midweek. I ordered the NOLA shrimp, which had a decent amount of flavor but a tad bit too much salt. The salmon dish was decent but seemed slightly undercooked. Avoid the Brussels sprouts at all cost; completely bland and flavorless. Service was efficient and friendly.

Had the Calamari with extra Marinara, my favorite app at this establishment. This Historic building in downtown Baton Rouge adds a little flare to the experience

Wow no happy hour and short pours things are changing at Stroubes. Too bad use to love this place.
