Y-pas Chippy - Barnsley

Very tasty fish and chips from here, I go most time when going through Kexboro, onion rings are a tad expensive though.

Brent and his team at Y-Pas Chippy are great. The food (especially the special cod) is fantastic! Food is always fresh, crisp and tasty. This is a great little chippy. Quick service, polite staff and great fresh food. A gem of a chip shop. Definitely...one to try.

It is always nice to call in for tea on Friday. Nothing too much trouble and friendly staff. I ordered a light battered fish for my wife and it was fine. My normal fish and chips were good as always. Never a poor meal and...always worth the money. Very well worth the visit.

I am thrilled that my favorite fish and chips shop is finally open. The food is delicious and well-prepared, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I feel safe every time I visit, as they enforce social distancing and only allow one person inside the shop at a time. Y Pas takes great care of their customers, providing gazebos outside for shelter while waiting and offering hand sanitizer inside. The shop is always clean and the food smells amazing. I highly recommend trying the fish cakes as well. Come and enjoy a delicious traditional fish and chips meal. Thank you, Gisela.

I tried the fish and chips at this restaurant for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. The Cod Special was cooked to perfection, with a massive portion of high-quality fish. The sides of chips were also delicious. I highly recommend this place.
