Wards Fish Chips - Barnsley

Best fish and chips that we were recently worth visiting. it was already a few times here, but this time chips were very hard (not knowing why, the fish looked like there were about 5 or 6 small pieces fish glued together with battery, I'm sorry, but no good experience last night.

Great service, good prices and still the best fishing and chips I had!

I always have their braided bark stew and chips. followed by a milk coffee. Excellent eating beautiful service. I eat every Tuesday there and traveled 18 miles to get there. !

Great traditional fish and chips cooked the old fashioned way. Tasty and perfectly cooked everytime. The staff/owners are super friendly and the atmosphere of the cafe is super comfy. I live in Manchester and always make a detour to visit if I’m anywhere near by. A true gem!

We have just experienced Ward's new take away service. It was excellent no queue social distancing very well organised. And the fish and chips were very good
