Costa - Barnsley

A store I haven’t used in a months or so and what a change! They are trialing have no large coffee! So you have to settle for a medium A medium latte that was 50% foam not milk ... today they were sub par in the product ... still friendly staff

Came in here on Thursday for a coffee with my mum and the staff were so friendly and genuinely looked like they were enjoying their job! They were singing and smiling and I was happy to wait in line as they were just making me smile! Will definitely return when I’m next in town!

We use this Costa on a regular basis whether it's a grab and go Latte when we are busy or shopping or when we get the opportunity to sit, relax and unwind over a speciality coffee and may be a bite to eat with my wife. We know all the staff who are friendly and welcoming and always pleasant and happy to serve and advise of new lines etc. Would recommend anyone to try here if it's a nice Coffee Shop you are after that doesn't feel that it's part of a big chain. Our 1st choice bar none

Lots of cups plates etc, scattered around. I was a little confused by someone mentioning about the other costa in barnsley, yet have since looked it up. There seemt to be lots of mess compared to the business level of customers. it was initially full and some tables emptied out to me these table could have been cleared almost as soon as the people left as there was an individual staff member going around clearing whilst the two ladies made coffee and took orders. Got a pasta salad which was alright, was looking for something tasty, vegetarian, and not too bad for you (other than the general toastie option you have). caramel latte, came in a glass... why? probably a scientific reason for this as most lattes come in standard coffee cups. i should probably have also specified what size drink i'd have liked as i think i got one of the medium sized ones since i didn't specify. the refit is good, much needed from the years of hammer the last decor version recieved. chair nearby could have done with a shampoo/clean though with part of some muffin smushed into it. still a nice local shop to chill and have a drink in, whilst catching up with friends in a well decorated area.

Called in Saturday morning ordered 2 white hot chocolates to be told they didn’t have any left. The service was slow not the best. Plenty of tables spare for a change, but won’t be rushing back.
