China Express Takeaway - Barnoldswick

I've heard great reviews about the food since the new management took over, so I decided to return. I'm very pleased with my crispy crushed chili beef and salt and pepper chips. I've been back a few times, mostly when it's quieter, but I just wanted to give a heads-up.

The meal was enjoyable. It took a bit longer than expected to be ready, about 10 to 15 minutes, but that’s not a complaint. I would definitely return and would recommend it to others.

A friend of mine mentioned a place in the city known for its excellent silver spoons. While I didn't find that, I did discover China Express. It's quite rare to find a Chinese takeout that not only offers all the traditional dishes, but also adds some unique homemade twists. The chef seems to enjoy experimenting with flavors. The plum sauce on the fried chicken wings was an absolute delight— I love that sauce! Everything I tried was fantastic, and I highly recommend giving it a shot if you find yourself nearby. My hometown could definitely benefit from some of their recipes!

Probably the best Chinese takeaway ever! When I first moved here a number of years ago I was told China Express wasn't very good, so avoided it. Then I decided I shouldn't just take other people's word for it, so tried it myself last year. Since then I can't keep away from the place! We have a takeaway at least once a week the food is absolutely delicious, the staff are lovely, and they even deliver locally for just £1. HIGHLY recommended

Delicious, delicious, delicious! This is one of the best Chinese takeaways in the area, and absolutely the finest in Barlick! The food is incredibly fresh and tasty, and the service was outstanding, both over the phone and in-store. The kung po sauce is exceptional, and the portion sizes are generous, packed with high-quality ingredients. The combo starter is a standout—it’s incredibly tasty and offers fantastic value for money! Overall, this is a great Chinese takeaway that I would highly recommend! As for parking, there's a large free parking lot nearby, plus plenty of on-street parking available.
