A’salt ‘n’ Battery

Received a leaflet through my door, thought I'd support a village business, no delivery driver as off. 25 min wait for a pizza and fish and chips. Pizza dough was raw and inedible, chips barely cooked, fish was tiny just thick batter and dry from being sat wrapped all that time. . Called them said we would drive over tomorrow for a refund. They failed to tell us they were shut. Meal type: Dinner

Went trainspotting to Barnetby. Been to the shop twice. Excellent fish and chips, freshly cooked to order. Staff friendly and efficient. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10

Meal for 6 all eaten and enjoyed shame it's to close

Aside from being a bit expensive for a chip butty, the food was decent.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The owners always take the time to engage with their customers.
