Imperial Cafe - Barnet

Cafe Imperial is a truly welcome addition on the High Street in Golders Green. It's been beautifully done up and is now an extremely pleasant, clean and elegant. The parlour corner with the little sofa is just delightful and I always eagerly hope that it's free! The food so at had been faultless-I'm a great fan of eggs, poached or fried, but even though they are considered a simple thing, it's not easy to get them perfectly prepared. Well, at Imperial they've always been excellent. The salads have always been perfectlt fresh and the little chocolate cakes and fruit tartlets delightful. And finally, attentive and pleasant service.

NOT USER FRIENDLY. I took my younger daughter to this establishment for brunch. The wonderful original manager/owner sadly no longer there(big mistake)!

The atmosphere at this café is very relaxing, feeling just like home. Originally a tea store in the past, the food served at this restaurant is well-prepared, beautifully presented, and not overly fancy. They specialize in breakfast fry-ups and sandwiches. The club sandwich was delicious, with ripe avocado slices, tasty chicken and bacon, and the fries were crispy and hot. There's something special about the food here that keeps you coming back for more.

There is a wide variety of homemade dishes available on the menu, ranging from snacks to full meals, as well as delightful desserts. The restaurant also serves great tea and coffee, and has a liquor license, offering beer and wine. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is friendly. This eatery is one of the oldest in Golders Green.

I have been living near this café for a year and finally decided to visit on a Sunday. It was truly wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxed, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. It doesn't even feel like you're in London. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were generous. I left feeling satisfied and full.
