Ciringhitto - BARI SARDO

I don't know whether we dropped lucky, but on a rainy afternoon in August we stopped here and ate a fish menu. It's only a beach bar/shack. As we had 2 children, we ordered the mixed fish menu for 2 people at 28 Euro per person excluding drinks and sides, which seems a lot for lunch, but we had terrific mussels for starters (the best I've had) followed by x2 what looked like grilled sea bass, x2 lumps of swordfish I think and x2 skate wings all grilled, fresh and tasted fantastic. I recall we paid around £68 Euro with drinks, salads etc, but I'd say the fish was truly great so well worth it for me.

We've been visiting this little place on the beach for several years now for a reason, the food is good! Nothing better than a dip in the beautiful deep blue sea and then a delicious lunch. They do a really tasty Fritto Misto, the batter is wonderful. They were very accommodating when I asked something that's not on the menu,or in my case a combination of two dishes. I asked for Spaghetti con olio Oil) aglio Garlic) with Vongole Clams) and Bottarga dried fish roe) for me, it was a pleasure to eat, washed down with some local wine. I also has a fantastic homemade Tiramisu there. Prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to return next summer!
