Al Gambero - BARI

This restaurant has incredible tasty fish menu, it’s must try when you are in Bari. It seems an old family restaurant.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local vegetable seller by the port. It’s a real local’s place. Excellent value for money, typical local dishes friendly service. We loved it!

I found this delightful restaurant. The chef was so eager to please. You can tell in how great the food tastes.

Initially seeming a bit off hand, the busy waiting staff turned out to be helpful and kind, even giving us lots of little free samples of other people’s dishes to try (which made for much too much food but was thoughtful and delicious) . This place is about the fish. Fresh, simply prepared and presented and plentiful portions. It’s not romantic and you are eating in a marquee with patio heaters but if you want reasonably priced regional fish dishes, this place is well worth the recommendations people have given it. The many locals and regulars amongst the diners are testimony to that. Worth having a go at booking!

We were recommended this restaurant from a local. The place doesn't look very inviting from outside, but don't let this fool you from missing one of the greatest food experiences in Bari! We let the waiter decide for us and as he promised, the food was delicious. We was served a local and very nice red wine. had starters and three pasta dishes. All better then the latter. If you are looking for authentic food in Bari this is the place to go!
