Bidrage med feedbackGood place if you are looking for a good atmosphere. the guy it is very good with clients and you are going to eat and have good drinks for a good price. I would say is it a good place to watch football at the same time you have a nice meal :
As you know, lunchtime menus del día are the best and cheapest way to eat good food in Barcelona. For 9 or 10 euros you get a choice of first plates (like paella), choice of second plates (like steak or lamb chops), bread, a dessert, and 1/2 bottle of wine. I lived in Barcelona for three years and I feel like I have sampled the menus of a million restaurants. Quiroga is one of my two favorite places for a lunchtime menu. The food is great, the people friendly, an overall good vibe. And they have THE BEST desserts. And, if you 're into rugby (which I am not), you can talk to Benji, owner and king of the rugby aficionados.
A little hard to comunicate with the stuff, but the food is absolutely amazing, I loved the blend of flavours, the way the food was cooked and time it was delivered. A familly like environment that you must experience!
We initially visited this sports bar/restaurant because we were exhausted, it was close to our hotel on the Gran Via de les Corts Catalane and prices were very reasonable. Sports bars are definitely not our scene and it was virtually empty when we arrived in the early evening so our expectations were not high. Service was great the waiter was very patient with our faltering Spanish and even brought out samples when we couldn 't understand his English for some items! We each had one of the eleven Euro three course specials and all the food was excellent. The place did fill up before we left and is obviously very popular with locals. We returned the next night for another wonderful meal and can highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a very pleasant evening meal here the staff made us very welcome and the drinks are the real deal had the best cava sangria was served to us while we were in Barcelona.
