Bidrage med feedbackI went back to this restaurant where I hadn't been since before the pandemic. I don't know if the owners have changed, but it's nothing like it was before. I was expecting that they would no longer do the salad buffet that they used to do because of the pandemic, but .... Now the food was ok, but the portions were small, or very small, depending on what you ordered. Even more so if you take into account the relationship with the price of the menu: 20 €! In nearby restaurants you could find menus between 13.95 and 17 € with portions that looked as good or even better, and they were all full. No wonder that in the time we were in the restaurant only 5 tables were full (before the pandemic you had to queue). Too bad, I don't think I'll be back. Volví a este restaurante donde no había estado desde antes de la pandemia. No sé si ha cambiado de dueños, pero nada que ver con lo que era antes. Ya me esperaba que no seguirían haciendo el buffet de ensaladas que hacían por la pandemia, pero ... La comida correcta, pero los platos con unas raciones escasas, o muy escasas depende de lo que pedías. Más aún si se tiene en cuenta la relación con el precio del menú: 20 €! En restaurantes próximos podías encontrar menús entre 13.95 y 17 € con raciones que tenían igual o mejor buena pinta incluso, y todos estaban llenos. No me extraña que en el rato que estuvimos en el restaurante sólo hubiera llenas 5 mesas (antes tenías que hacer cola). Lástima, no creo que vuelva.
All visitors should eat here to experience traditional Catalan dishes at a reasonable price. We had the calçots because they were in season and a lesson on the proper method for consuming then came with it : We also had the fish soup... perfection! I wish I could eat here every day!
We found this place by accident as we were staying near by at the casa camper hotel. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and seated us right away. We tried Calcots since it seemed like everyone else here was eating them. They were fresh with an excellent taste and came with a dipping sauce. I had a chicken dish and my wife a fish dish and both were prepared excellent.
The best catalan food I’ve ever eatten since my grandmother’s cuisine. Faves a la Catalana, Calçots en Tempura amb Salsa Romesco, Canelons de Carn Gratinats, Cap i Pota, Pastís de Formatge amb Compota de Poma i Coulant de Xocolata. Perfect cooking point on the ‘spring onions’, perfect tempura, rich romesco sauce, traditional “beixamel’ (with the characteristic black pepper and nutmeg flavour, not heavy and “overflour” as usual), rich well-cooked meat, rich ‘Cap i Pota’ sauce, intense Coulant and creamy Cheesecake. In the sun of the terrace, with the best atention they could give us. Highly recommended.
