Gioelia Emilia Cremeria, La Rambla

I visited here upon recommendation from a friend who is living in La Rambla street. Emilia's atmosphere and design was attractive. Great selection of ice creams, along with homemade desserts served in mason jars. We tried 4 different tastes which were amazing and wonderful. It is not expensive in if you consider the quality. We didn't seem to think so at all obviously, you will be paying more than a generic ice cream, but it isn't going to break the bank. You get what you pay for, and you will not be disappointed.

I was hell-bent on eating cannolo when visiting Barcelona... Yeah, I know, what was I thinking, right? Well, I loved them so much, when I tasted them in Sicily, so I figured that Spain is close enough, and they must have some good enough places that sell them. I got recommended a pasticceria on Carrer de Verdi, and I went there twice, but they were sold out. So I bought cannolo near La Rambla... and it tasted nothing like the one in Sicily. To be more precise, it tasted like nothing aka it was completely tasteless. I should have gone for churro instead at some other place. I don't know about other stuff Gioelia serves, it may be amazing, but my cannolo was such a disappointment, I couldn't get over it even a few days later.

Delicious! Had the pistachio, crema catalana (our favourite) cremino which were all so lovely! Bargain getting 3 scoops instead of 2 for a little extra!

From the door you realize that everything has to be very good. delicious ice cream, super creamy and intense flavors. cakes, cannolis and crepes have very good paint too, to try without a doubt. the place is cozy and very friendly attention. an exception in the middle of the classic deceptions of the ramblas.

The attention he gave us was insufficient, the very slow service and in serving us were wrong. By insisting on another waitress who brought us the ice bass (something not so complicated to prepare), the one that treated us at first recriminated me that because I didn't ask him before with a challenging tone, which thing is wrong because at first I respected him twice because he didn't know what we asked him. The only good thing was the coffee.
