El Mussol - Barcelona

We felt very welcome in this place, my fyrst night in Barcelona. The waiter Boris welcomed us with a glasses of cava, fine spanish bubbels, and the food was very good and in á good price.

The bar looks nice but the service was appauling. We were a group of four 55+ year olds and had to wait for 10 mins after being seated (the bar was very quiet at 4.30pm) to be served. Three bar staff in the bar area no other customers in the bar but quite a few in the reseraunt. Tried for 10 mins to order more drinks finally waietr came over, had to ask for the wine menue (another 5 mins) made order, after 20 mins no drinks finally caught bartenders eye, 5 mins more so we cancelled order and left. Worst service in 20+ visits to spain over past 15 years. There are so many fantastic bars and resteraunts in Barcelona do not go to this one!

Great spot for food at arenas. Kathy was an excellent server. Food was all very good, we would definitely come back!

Excelente servicio! La comida estaba deliciosa, recomendamos las croquetas de bacalao, el secreto ibérico y el atún. Julio nos atendió extraordinariamente. Muy bueno!
