Degusto Forn Sl - Barcelona

Recently stayed at the negresco princess hotel which is next to this cafe. We enjoyed breakfast here each day. The selection of local food is wide and very good quality. Coffee and cakes as well as cold drinks and bakery delights. Very popular with locals and visitors. Seating on the street or inside. Good service and friendly staff who spoke English which made our experience easier. Very good prices. We will be back.

We went there for breakfast as it was just down the stairs from our hotel. The omelette and sandwich were very tasty. Freshly ground coffee was good. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Some of the staff are fluent in English. We were really impressed with the range of baguettes available for takeaway. We went there every morning during our stay in Barcelona to buy our baguettes to take with us. They were very good value for money and saved us from the hassle of having to find lunch whilst on the go.

Had coffee and chocolate croissants for breakfast cannot recommend it enough. Many locals call here for breakfast it is very good and inexpensive with excellent service.

We stayed at the Negresco Princess in BCN with our teenage daughters for 4 nights in June. While we loved the hotel, we were really not up for a 20 Euro/day per person big breakfast so we opted to venture out of the hotel to find a coffee shop for something light to get us started. We found Degusto Forn Sal just across the street and it was perfect! We all had nice coffees, fresh squeezed OJ, Evian Water and all had either a muffin or a ham and cheese on a baguette. PERFECT! the best part was that all of that was ~24 Euros. We went there every day for the entire trip. We opted for the outdoor sidewalk tables but they do have seats inside. They also serve lunch although we only had breakfast.
