O'charley's Restaurant Bar

I'm not one to complain, so I didn't say anything while at the restaurant. However, the oil used for frying definitely needed to be changed, as it had a terrible taste. My husband ordered fried catfish, and he said it didn’t taste bad at all.

What about the mature seats? Looks like someone took a knife. It was so for a FAR TOO LONG time. How can you even put a person in it without care? This restaurant is good enough to buy new seat cushions. Do you allow this to go on this long makes you wonder what other corner cutting is going? If you sit with one of those atrocities we leave. I don't want to be moved, I want to go. It's shameful.

We typically dine at O'Charley about twice a month, and on July 17, we decided to go there again. My husband ordered the chopped steak, while I chose the chicken parmesan that I had enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, this time my chicken parmesan was disappointing. I was hoping for a smooth and flavorful marinara sauce, but O'Charley's version was filled with half-steamed cherry tomatoes. It’s hard to describe it as good, as the combination of the chunky tomatoes and crumbly sauce wasn't very appealing. I ended up bringing the leftovers home but only ate a small portion of it. I had heard great things about the chicken here, and it lived up to the hype—it was very good. However, my side dishes were a bit disappointing, which is why I’m giving it a 4-star rating. The mac and cheese was just okay—not particularly cheesy, and the texture of the macaroni was a bit off, maybe a little too firm. As for the coleslaw, it seemed slightly past its prime. It had that “one-day-old” look, and I even found a piece of ice in it, as if it had been frozen before. Despite that, it did taste good. My lunch partner ordered the crab cake, which was also on the smaller side but flavorful. Overall, the seafood dishes were solid. I left feeling quite full and even had some leftovers. All things considered, I would describe it as a surprisingly great meal. I’d likely return just for the Cajun shrimp and chicken!

Absolutely one of the worst meals I have had. Broccoli was cold so they microwaved it then it was like rubber, pork chop was nothing but a thin piece of fat n grissel, chicken tenders so small and over cooked, hard and hardley any eatable chicken in them. Will not be dining here again that?s for sure. Server was good m, courteous and prompt. Food issues should have been addressed better though.
