Longhorn Steakhouse - Barboursville

Very quiet atmosphere, food was great, servers were very prompt and polite. Didn't have to wait to be seated and it was a Saturday night. Highly recommend

Worst service we have ever had at a Longhorn Steakhouse. We typically enjoy our meals at Longhorn but this evening has been VERY disappointing. Our waitress was pleasant enough but attentive not so much. Once she took our order and delivered our main entree that’s the last we saw of her until we asked for a box. We had to wait until she came back to get our check then she disappeared again. I’m not sure if we were sat in her area during her dinner break or not. Just very disappointing.

I'll get my main complaint out of the way which is that sometimes the wait staff will take exceptionally long to check in on you or bring you the bill. We once waited about 7 minutes after asking for an extra cup of sauce (a sauce that came with the dish, not some special request). Other than that, this place is IMMACULATE! The tenders are crunchy and salty and flavorful and go so well with the mild sweet honey mustard. The Flo is so tender and flavorful, however I would say to order your steak a bit more cooked than you normally would if it's busy because my medium has had full on RED in it before!

Was pretty excited to eat here with the wife and kids but once we got seated that excitement was dashed away. We got seated immediately but 10 minutes later a waiter stopped by to let us know that he would be right back to get our drink orders. I want to mention that it was about 3pm on a Saturday and the place wasn't even halfway full so it was a bit annoying that 20 minutes after being seated we hadn't even been asked for our drink order. It was more annoying to see the waiter walk by empty handed 3 times to check on other tables that were just sitting and talking after being done eating but after watching the waiter go to 3 other groups that came in more than 10 minutes after us to take their drink and appetizer orders then make sure he went around to get his tips from the tables of the talkers we just left. I really wanted to try this place but I will not be going back because I'll just remember my first visit and not enjoy the experience.

Me and my bf decided to eat here 1 night when Texas roadhouse was packed. There was no wait time but they did have a good bit of ppl there the waiter was great but it did take awhile for our food to show up which stuff happens so not to big a deal and the waiter had taken some off our bill for the longer wait. The food was great! I really liked the mushroom app and the steak that I had. My bf wasn't the biggest fan of the seasoning on his steak but u can ask them to go light with the seasoning. All in all thought it was great and the atmosphere was nice and cozy the waiter was very polite and helpful.
