Bidrage med feedbackFun, lively atmosphere. Lots of smiling faces everywhere. Birthday parties going on and lots of people having a fun time! The animatronic band was also in pretty good condition as well. The staff were all super friendly and kind! My only complaints are that i wish the rockafire band performed more, they only played once in the 2 hours i was there. And another thing is that there were a LOT of broken games. Almost half the arcade games were out of order or didn’t dispense tickets.
Broken, broken, broken. I’ve been coming to Billy Bob’s for 31 years. Before it was even in the new building it is in now. I am so sad to see the condition of the building, facilities (no toilet paper in ANY stall which is tricky with a kid), eating area, animatronics, and especially the machines. I wanted so badly to have my daughter enjoy the establishment the way I did, but I can not return. 70% of the machines are broken, or in our case broke as we played. Literally every other game is broken with a sign saying “temporarily broken” which I know to have been closed for a year maybe more. The staff was so nice but scarce. Which is completely understandable because the building was empty, to the point we seconded guessed they were even open. We however made the most of our $20 in tokens (for a toddler that’s a lot of tokens). But when we went to get “prizes” it was basically bare. We looked around for a moment for her decide what she wanted when I saw that a butterfinger bar was 900 tickets! 900!!! A regular size pack of M&Ms was 1500!!!!! We had 569 and won big a few times. I was blown away. But whatever…then we stood for so long waiting for an employee to come check us out, that we just left. I wish someone would buy this out, and revamp everything! This has so much potential but not in the condition it’s currently in or being ran. I hate that the community may lose a gem, but I can’t see Billy Bob’s being in business for very much longer in this state. It was so sad.
As a boy showbiz pizza held some fond memories of classic arcade meets something I had never experienced. It was the life like animatronics that brought the most nostalgic memories. I saw there was one still running and recently restored and had to check it out. Pros: ample parking, and easy accessibility. Staff was friendly and helpful. The arcades were fun and using actual tokens and winning tickets is something in and of itself. Pizza is hard to kess up and it eas decent. Been to chuck e cheese latly and CEC beat this. The band, stage, lighting, sound, etc for the animatronics was amazing. It felt like I had stepped back into the 80s for a few hours. EDIT: Came back for a second day and did laser tag. Def do laser tag it was very worth it. Also had different shows on the RAE and that in itself is worth a second or third trip Cons: kinda dirty inside. Restroom was clean it was mainly the floors. Could use a good cleaning. The arcades had a lot of service issues unaddressed. Lots of down machines and with not the most anyway these need to be working. I'd say keep most what you have and if you added 4 or so more actual old arcade machines it would fill much more complete. Lastly the band could use just a little bit more touch ups. Also couldn't get Rofle to play and I know I hit all the show buttons. In close it's a relic from the past many people still appreciate and don't want to go away. I hope business is good and I would do some free social media work to boost it. Hope I can see this again one day and it WAS worth my 4.5 hour trek.
The place has been slipping over the years. Some of the gaming machines are messed up. I went to play DealorNoDeal and one machine was broke and the working one had monitor problems where it looked like a ball hit it. The basketball machines were half broken 2 out of 5 were broke. Two hoops missing the nets. There was quite abit of machines still working but it felt like a 50/50 chance. The little little kids games seemed to be working good. Theres duct tape holding carpet together which i almost tripped on a few times. Do love that the singing animals are still there from when my mom was a kid, they do need some oil tho. Cleanliness THEY NEED TO MOVE THE TRASH CANS AWAY FROM THE FOUNTAIN DRINK STATION! I went for a pepsi and gnats all over the faucets. The restrooms need to be more maintained with towels and the doors kept shut so no one akwardly walks by why your at a urinal. Our pizza turned out great and the staff was great and friendly. The Cowboys hoodie worker was the nicest one I encountered, he helped my baby sister when she lost some tickets. I do recommend and still love the place. Wish it was cleaner but I will definetly be back and do recommend
I've been completely obsessed with the rockafire explosion, so when I found out this place existed (and it got restored early this year I just had to go! For a 3 hour drive, it was so worth it. We got there right when it opened and stayed right until it closed. Lots of fun arcade games to occupy your time. Food was beyond average. And the main attraction, the rockafire explosion. The bots were in great shape, all the cosmetics were in good condition, and the movements were very fluid. They looked and moved like real people. The laser tag was super fun too. Great place to go and totally worth the drive :
