El Jalepeno's Mexican - Barberton

This restaurant is outstanding! Great food, great service! The flavors just burst in your mouth. A definite go to!

Salsa is ok, but not one of my favorites compared to other Mexican restaurants I've had. Price is average for a Mexican restraunt. Place was clean and busy. I wish my dish had more flavor though. Usually Mexican dishes or loaded with flavor-which I love. I ordered the Chipotle chicken.. not much flavor but it was hot and fresh! I didn't think it was spicy at all-but it was advertised as being spicy. Not much chipotle sauce or cheese on it.. again not much flavor compared to other Mexican restaurants that I've ate at.

Fun restaurant with tasty food. We were seated right away and just before the dinner rush. When we left, all tables were full. Our server was very attentive and got our drink and food orders quickly in. All orders were correct. They refilled waters and took secondary drink orders. All good with the service. Food was also very good. I had the chipotle chicken which was juicy and with a bit of spice. I liked the fresh chopped poblanos mixed in the sauce. The gf had chicken chimichangas and enjoyed them (not too spicy for her). For a drink I had the standard margarita on the rocks. Very good and a nice amount of tequila. Overall our party of seven had a great time.

They close at 10 on Saturdays but, will rush you at 8:45 to order and give you boxes as soon as they can because they decide that they want to close early. That's not how a restaurant is ran. As a server myself, you stay until the actual closing time. I saw people refused one more drink because the workers wanted get out early. Rude service for us tonight.

The food was a little less seasoned than I'm used to in a Mexican restaurant but it was good nonetheless. The portions are huge so bring your appetite. The service was impeccable. The restaurant was clean, if a little run down. Our booth seats were torn so they were a little uncomfortable. The prices were good, especially for the amount of food we received.
