Pizza Ranch - Baraboo

My 10 friends and I were looking for a place to eat. I recommended Baraboo pizza ranch because I had good experience there as a teenager. Unfortunately I have developed a food intolerance since then so I had called to see what options there were for me. The employee I talked to on the phone was really sweet and kind. Unfortunately management did not train their employees well. I was misinformed about the menu. I was told that I didn’t have any options for me. Consequently I told my friends I’d meet them there and bring in food from somewhere else. I brought in my unopened freshly cooked culvers bags to pizza ranch and was told I could either eat in my car or sit with my friends while they ate and just looked on hungerly. They said they had gluten/dairy free options. Something I was told they didn’t have over the phone. The older lady employee that was serving me was very rude. The lady I had talked with on the phone was really sweet and nice so I do not fault her in the least and even when I was they she was very sympathetic. I explained my situation and that I was misinformed. Since I was not happy with what the older lady employee told me, she got the manager. The management told me that I should have asked for a manager when I called and continued to tell me I couldn’t eat my Culvers in here. I told them that I should not have to pay then because it wasn’t my fault I was misinformed. They told me I could eat from the salad bar only which of course that is the only thing I can eat there because of my intolerance. I was very unhappy with the rude manner of the manager and the older lady employee. Consequently I don’t recommend this place if you have a food intolerance. I also don’t recommend it because of the lack of training and rude manner of some management and employees.

We got all psyched up for a visit here, and were horribly let down. 4 kids and 3 adults. We where told that the buffet is closed from 2 til 430. It was unfortunately 2. She said we could order off menu. Food was still on buffet. I said I wished we knew and the woman said it is on their website and the front door. Two other groups were there. 1 group said they surprised, the other group didn 't believe me and went in. They came out as we were backing out, looking at is doing a no head motion. THERE IS A PIZZA RANCH IN LAKE DALTON, go there. It does not close down, same franchise though. It was fantastic, plenty of help and good food. I will post there, too. I would have given it a zero star if possible, but that wouldn 't be fair. The 3 star is about the closed buffet only. You can place a special request pizza, there was food on buffet. What the heck
