Mimi's Dumpling Kitchen - Banyule

The food at this restaurant is hit or miss. The salt and pepper squid is highly recommended, but the dumplings can be a bit watery unless you specifically ask for them to be pan fried. Unfortunately, the service is severely lacking.

This restaurant is overall very good. You can enjoy a variety of traditional Chinese dishes here, whether dining in or taking out. The wait for food can be a bit long at times, but the prices are reasonable. The dumplings are absolutely delicious, even better than what I have had in China (I'm from China :)

Whether you eat in or take away, the many variety of dumplings are just great, very tasty and delicious Service is very good

Delicious dumplings. I have been to Mimi's for lunch and dinner. I keep returning for the yummy dumplings and tea! They have soup dumplings, fried dumplings, steamed dumplings. They have other items on the menu which I have yet to try, but no doubt I will. Their portions are decent and good value for money. If you're in the northern suburbs and cannot be bothered cooking at home, Mimi's is a great place to eat at.

The name has changed from Mimi's Dumpling Kitchen to Polaris Dumplings. The pork dumplings and spring onion pancakes were delicious. My wife and I will definitely go back. The menu is quite comprehensive, but I am a Dumplings Connoisseur. The variety of dumplings is quite extensive. The Feng Shui of the Cafe and environment is fantastic. The service was pretty quick, as well. Highly recommended.
