Eliana's Resto Grill - Banog

The most visible advantage of Eliana's Resto Grill is it's location. It is far from the traffic and parking problems in Alaminos proper. There is ample parking space all around. Actually this was not our first choice. Our original choice was in the city proper...but there was no parking available. So we settled for Eliana's with their cozy nipa huts. W were a party of six so we had a nipa hut all to mourselves. The food, sadly, was average. Except for the catfish which I thought was exceptional. But the pancit, the seafood platter, the kare-kare, the inasal and barbecue were ordinary tasting. Would we go back to it? . I suppose yes but only if we can't find parking elsewhere.. .

Unfriendly and discourteous staff. Imagine ignoring you while seating in a table full of plates tapis sasabihan ka na if we can wait for an hour before they can attend to us. Labas na kami agad at kahit gutom ka na nawalan kami ng gana....Hwag nyo na try itong resto na ito. I wonder why they are still operating..

Their food is great. We have tried their inihaw na bangus, pakbet, ensaladang talong, mangga and beef kare kare. By the way, their bagoong is really great. There are many Filipino food to choose from like bulalo, inihaw na pusit and etc. Servings is great...too. Prices are budget friendly too. Staffs are friendly, fast service.It is nice to eat in their kubo and you can see fields from there.

We ate in this restaurant yesterday, hoping to have a decent meal. The worst Restaurant I've been in my entire life! Service is very slow! The staffs are shouting and angry to each other, if you will ask them something, they will raise their voice,...very very unprofessional. Nothing extraordinary and very expensive. 1.5L softdrinks cost 120Php more than twice the suggested retail price. In short, this restaurant is a holdaper disguised into a restaurant.

We learned about this place from a TV show that included this resto grill when it featured a travel to Alaminos, Pangasinan. So we were excited that we found it just along the main highway. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with how our orders came out....One of the things we ordered was their grilled squid, and when it was served, it was so plain and didn't have any taste. We expected more based on the price. It's a nice place for local food, but nothing extraordinary. Or maybe their specialty dishes are much better. But we were only able to try about three dishes.
