Mixed opinion. I made a reservation here for my wife’s birthday based on the pictures and menu online. We arrived expecting fine dining. The atmosphere had more or a local diner than fine dining. The food was good, however not what was represented. I ordered a NY strip but received a ribeye. My wife enjoyed her chicken florentine. We both agree the sides were just okay. The wine, however, was great! The cheesecake and tiramisu was delicious! The service was great despite being completely swamped. In my opinion, the atmosphere could use a revamp or the prices lowered a bit.

My wife and I decided to get a drink on Beech and really wanted a view. We stopped at the new location for the Alpen Restaurant (shared building with Bullwinkels Pizza) and decided to sit outside on their deck that overlooks the slope. They have a great bourbon selection and we settled on a couple of Buffalo Trace cocktails on the rocks. We were hungry and ordered the spinach artichoke appwow, it was fantastic!!! Great experience and the staff was really nice. They are expanding too, building a larger dining room. This is really worth a visit if you are up on Beech.
