Bistro at Botany Bay Hotel

Tried this place after a write up in the local paper the other week.At midday we were the only 2 in the place, seemed odd.The chef was friendly and we stayed and had 2 very nice meals. Barra special and salmon. Very tasty and nice and hot and fresh.Bar man was very friendly too.It is a nice pub old sandstone and very tidy. I was suprised it was so quiet but it was a lovely quiet lunch out for us. Woukd go back

Two of us had the sirloin steak and one had salmon - we were all really impressed with how good the meals were. They came with chips and a salad that had a good mix of leafy greens and tomatoes. We'd all definitely recommend the food. The night was quiet so there was plenty of comfortable seating. The staff were all super friendly so it was a really enjoyable experience. Give it a go!

Loved this pub was the local go to, but after reopening with a new menu and cranky chef wont bother going back.

Great Food,Great Service,and Cozy atmosphere,with a double sided fireplace to keep you warm,whilst eating and drinking.They've had new management since November 2015,and they know how to look after you,really well.They go over and above normal bistro service here. Is on the 309 bus route.

We have visited here a few times in the past but this time, we noticed the food has really improved - must be a new chef!. The menu still has the schnitzel and steak type but there is more variety and prices are quite reasonable for the quality. Huge servings and yummy!
