The food is amazing and the service is friendly. I recommend not sitting at the bar unless there is no one standing behind it, as they can be a little distracting. The steak sandwich is delicious and the hand-cut fries are plentiful. However, the bier cheese with pretzels is not very good. The mac and cheese was tastier than the cheese that came with the pretzel bites. This is not a place to go if you are in a rush, but it's perfect for a leisurely meal.

I appreciate this restaurant for being open on Easter! The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is excellent. The bartender was very friendly, making me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. It felt like home. Thank you!

The dining experience was decent, but not outstanding. I felt that the modern waitstaff seemed to be putting in minimal effort in order to receive a better tip. I prefer the old school mentality of doing your job well and letting the tip reflect that accordingly.

The service was extremely slow and eating was below average. the whistling pig sandwich was overly sweet, soggy, seemed only half filled. fried scalopps were slandered, all fryed came out in 2-3 inches long, overcooked pieces. the appetizers of the two-rings were delicious.

First visit. niece brought me here to treat me to eat. started with Spinach/Artichoke dip and appetizer Sampler plate....very good....onion rings done as they should be. steak was very tasty and cooked medium rare, just as I wanted. very enjoyed the baked potatoes....if they were not here, highly recommended.
