Hops House 99 - Bangor

Poutine was an embarrassment. Cheese curds are supposed to be melted, not added as an afterthought. Chicken wings were chicken tenders, not wings, and jerk sauce is not supposed to be sweet! Two slivers of carrot and celery with the wings was sad. **** Mary was tasty, but scantily garnished with olives with pits! Beer was good.

Our server, Kevin, did a great job and made the meal that much better.

Caesar salads tasted as if they used bottle dressing and store brand croutons. The horseradish crusted salmon had neither salmon nor horseradish flavor...very dry and flavorless. The after dinner coffee tasted as if it was left over from breakfast. The waitand hostess staff members were friendly and polite, but they can't overcome such awful fare.

Slow to acknowledge us once we were seated. Macoroni and Cheese feature item on their menu was highly overated.

The restaurant is now called 99 hops, so we were confused how to go. the good was good, the service was good, and it was super comfortable as it is located in the hotel
