La Terrazza - Banff

Food was spectacular, had mussels as appetizer they were the best I have ever tasted. Had an amazing smoked margarita for a drink. Pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection portions were more then enough. Our server was so amazing you can see he throughly loved his job. Amazing friendly service. We will be back.

Wow! What a dinner. First, they generously altered our reservation time when we couldn’t get on the 6:12pm bus from Lake Louise (huge crowds! We caught the 7:12 bus and made it back to town changed clothes and hurried over. Our dinner was fantastic. Delicious wine and cocktails. Loved the caprese. Then… the MUST have: their signature pasta dish (of course I can’t remember the name! It’s pasta shaped into roses with ham. You will see it… it’s the first one on the menu and they call it their signature dish. GET IT. Yum.

I had a lobster risotto and it's definitely the best dish I've had in a long time. Compliment to chef!

Very nice décor and attentive staff. My wife raved about the lobster risotto, I had the pasta Rosellini which is hand rolled pasta roses, locally sourced ham, mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano in a tomato rosé sauce, delicious as well.

We ate at La Terrazza on Saturday evening. It was very nice. The portions were very reasonable, food was well made & flavourful. The service was a bit off; perhaps our waitress was a bit less experienced -- forgot to bring spoons for coffee, for instance. Although she then realized spoons were lacking & said she'd go get them, she forgot before getting back around to us. A bit surprising, as it wasn't so busy. But the food was good, so would recommend it for a nice sit down dinner.
