Ramen Arashi Banff

We eat here every single time we go to banff and it is amazing. Not only is the price very reasonable, the portion, and the food quality is also great. Sometimes I wish my stomach was bigger so I could eat three ramen bowls in one sitting because it’s that good. The broth 1000000000000/10 and meat 10000000/10!!!! The service is also great, they’re always so welcoming and nice. Terrible dining experience. We waited outside for 25mins, which we understand since each restaurant has its own seating capacity that cannot be overcame. However, we noticed that servers (at least few of them seemed not to be considerate of the line up and were cleaning each tables in a very cavalier way. Coming from an Asian background, I have to say their service is way too rigid. They clean each table first (taking an above average time , then putting utensils on the table, and then putting few cups of water (which i could not understand tbh, they could seat the customer first then do these things later . Moreover, the wait after we placed our order was another 25mins (we inquired once about wait time and a server told us 5mins, but it was not until another 15mins have passes for our ramen to ready. I appreciate one of the more senior looking Japanese server lady who offered us bottled green tea as an apology for the lateness. However, when i asked her about our addons and appetizers , she showed me a poker face and said condescendingly “i know!”. Ramen were way too salty, i have to add extra tapped water to balance the taste. Wouldn’t recommend for their poor service. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

One of the best ramen places I've had so far. Price is reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Place is a bit small and mostly busy so we had to wait like 10 mins to be seated. We had seafood ramen and the taste was 10/10. They would charge you if you ask for sauce but it's so flavorful that you won't need any sauce or condiments. Very tasty ramen. Service was good and they were very good with the allergic restrictions, which was very nice of them! They are on the second floor of the inside mall Definitely a place to stop for a quick food stop!
