This ice cream shop came to me as a recommendation from my tour guide. After taking in the sites, I stopped in with my 2 sisters, and we each enjoyed a cone of ice cream as we walked back to our tour bus. Very delicious. This is a must stop when you go to Banff. Great ice cream and love their merchandise. We went in the end of June and the lineup was way out the door. When you finally get in the shop and up to the ice cream you feel so pressured to pick your ice cream and don't get a chance to really figure out what you want. They have so many flavors and they are named strangely so it's not like cookies and cream or chocolate mint. It confuses you and you have no time to read the names to see what is in them and to make a choice of what you really want your $10 cone to be because you have 50 people waiting behind you. Good ice cream but really bad set up. Then when you visit the other half of their store which is set up with clothes and other merchandise to buy and you have what you want to purchase there is no one to ring you in. We went here 3 times and both ti.es it was the same. They are definitely making a ton of money and can hire someone to watch the merchandise side of things. You will love the ice cream but look up their flavors online first and know what you want and be prepared to wait. Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not for handicapped people.

I get it. The line is super long and it doesn’t look worth the wait, but life is short just try it once!! The view down Banff Ave can keep you occupied as you wait. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
