Foley's Irish Pub - Bandon

Initially, we hesitated to visit this restaurant because of some negative reviews, but we decided to go anyway, and we ended up having a fantastic time. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the portion sizes were just right. My wife and I tried the fish and chips and the shepherd's pie, both of which were incredibly delicious. They also serve a perfect pint of Guinness, and I discovered a wonderful new Irish whiskey called Powers.

I ordered the chopped sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! It was fresh and served hot, with a mushroom sauce that paired perfectly with the meat, Swiss cheese, and sourdough bread. My wife tried the Färsenmaische and mentioned that her sausage was the best she’s ever had. The bread pudding was delightful, generously topped with sauce to ensure a satisfying finish. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the service was quick. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience!

The food was excellent, the drinks were refreshing, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Bandon.

The food and atmosphere is fantastic. I only deduct one star because they were undermanned and that hurt the service. The waiter/bartender and waitress on hand were working their tails off though. No matter what, if you'd like some good food and a perfectly pulled Guinness you won't be disappointed.
