Bar Poupoune - Bandol

Having a last cocktail on my way home with my family and were very disappointed. the cocktails are not good. they have a huge cocktail menu, but now I wonder how could they manage it.. please train them. her team as she made a cocktail and her team member was arrogant. I am not sure that this is the reflection on how they want to serve their consumers. we lived our 3 cocktails on the table and go.

I and my friends went out because we drink and sit in this bar.... lost money people. the personal is cool, but they should change a more bare,wurst cocktails in my life.

That is not very special, but we had to cool off at a very hot visit. a cold drink and a conversation. perfect.

Dropped in for a beer on arriving Bandol Friday mid afternoon. Also hoped for at least a sandwich but obviously chose the wrong place, as no food was being served. There isn't much to choose between the array of street front bars on the promenade...and all appear quite laid back. All I can say about this one is their beer was cold and the service lethargic!

We have family with a house in Bandol, so we go for a week every summer, and I really look forward to these breakfasts! My husband and I go to La Poupoune right on the port every morning . For 6,20 euros, you have your...coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, plus flaky croissant, fresh French bread with butter and jam, a glass of orange juice, and a bowl of fruit salad. A big, friendly smile from the waiter. We love it there. It's calm, the morning air is so lovely, and this delicious breakfast is just what you need to start the day. You have to include this in your Bandol experience!
