Maru Koreanbbq - Ban Talat Nua

The best Korean Restaurant in Phuket so far. The food tastes great and the service is even better. I can’t relate to some negative comments here. The place is really recommendable.

Was just wowed by the food . Love korean food and in Singapore we do have some pretty gd ones but this surpassed them all . Must try . Going back there again tomorrow coz really it’s that gd. Particularly loved the beef bulgogi n the kimchi pancake

The only Korean things you’ll get there are the name of the dishes and the drinks! We ordered: 1) Japchae: it was so watery, don’t ask me how and lacked the taste of at least sesame oil; it’s an easy dish to make that you can never go wrong with, well that’s what we thought until we tried this! 2) Tteokbokki: nice try, it’s obvious that you used the already packed tteokbokki you can buy from stores and added an egg to charge extra for it. (Failure) 3) Ramen: what in the world did I just have, it’s just ramen with no flavors; I’m wondering if they forgot to put the spices sachet. At this rate I’m just thankful I didn’t go for Kimchijiggae I would’ve got tomatoe based soup instead of kimchi Food 1/5 Drinks 5/5 (they do have authentic Korean beer, so go for drinks only instead) Ambiance 2/5

Came here at around five and the place was not very busy at all. It deserves to be packed though! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so kind. I had gimbap and sundubu jjigae and both were amazing, they taste like what I would get in Korea. 순두부찌개, 김밥, 반찬까지 다 맛있었어요

Beef belly with rice and side dishes were so good : I also loved the dak galbi But unfortunately the tteokkbeokki was too bland and tasteless
