Eat Is Life - Ban Mai

Excellent food and service. My parents and I were greeted by the cook at the door, who then showed us on our table. A bright and relaxed atmosphere with pleasant music. The fresh salad bar was beautiful with organic products and house made dressings. The Japanese/Spanish menu caught us from the guard, but it delivered excellent flavors and presentation. The shells were incredible and the part was generous. In fact, all parts were generous for the price, including the Entrees. If my family and I were longer in Chiang Mai, we would surely come here.

This is really the best restaurant in town. Reviewed #6 on TripAdvisor from 2300 restaurants in Chiang Mai. The cook, Enric has the magic touch of the mix of favors and ingredients and then cooking and presenting them perfectly, ALL THE TIME! I enjoyed the meals there and everyone wants to come back. By far the best prepared Lobsters fresh from Canada in the world. The Risotto is also a favorite.

LOVE this place. So much that we came back a second time. The first time we got the chicken rice (a MUST!) and the second time we got the meerrot tuna and the steak. Both were delicious. (My favorite was the tuna. The free salad bar was surprisingly very diverse, and the dressings were both exquisite. Not to mention the atmosphere is cozy, and the cook is in the middle all prepared dishes before you with such passion, you know that it will be good. To complete everything, we got the same dessert both nights fried banana crepe with mussel, strawberry sauce and ice cream. Don't go without trying!

Favorite meal in Chiang Mai! The lobster is worth it and the vegetarian options are stellar (yellow curry with tofu in particular is perfectly spiced pictured below. Plus the salad bar is really fresh and the whole place is so clean! If you're on a street food budget, this place isn't for you. If you're looking for an amazing place that delivers on every level at a reasonable price definitely check it out!
