Uncle Lee's Harbor - Baltimore

We came a little early on a rainy baltimore summer evening. service was friendly and the food was delicious. the dumplings, lo my, egg rolls and kung pow bark we shared were delicious. I'm not sure why there are several negative reviews, our waitress was very friendly and eating came out quickly.

Sentimental choice for sitting Chinese in inner harbor. (no experience with their delivery. very good. tso is tofu, good fried rice. smaller portions than they might expect, but eating is great. the service is from a baptism of old Chinese ladies and men, so be patient.

I love eating Chinese and picking it up wherever I go. I saw every visit from baltimore onkel lees, so yesterday was the chance to lunch. a little disappointed, once in it is in the necessity of renovation. the staff was very friendly and efficient, but it doesn't feel like a restaurant maybe because of the bank, like the building in which it is housed. the menu is the type I don't like too many choices (a problem with many Chinese restaurants), but still a beautiful variety. I ordered the spicy ginger beef w/water chestnut and my friend ordered the aubergine. both were very good to typical Chinese restaurants in the Usa, but still to tourist. I would classify this place as a definitiw above average probably excellent if they were looking for Chinese American food, and not quite so if they were looking for something more authentic. a thing I asked if my court could be adjusted to be spicy and less sweet, and they were happy to do that.

Eating was good, and they had some exotic dishes. the price was reasonable and I had a good meal. the interieur is beautiful looking, but it was devastated and dark (no lighter were on.) I felt a little embarrassing.

Worst food ever. It did not surprise me that the sweet and sour pork was processed food and deep fried. What did surprise me was the so called veggie stir fry in a white sauce. There was no white sauce. Tasted like seaweed. I could not eat it and they wouldn't even give me a credit on my bill either.
