Holy Frijoles - Baltimore

A classic Hampden mainstay. Don 't miss it if visiting. Great food and good drinks. Service can be, well, short and abrupt. You don 't get many smiles or assistance, more like what do you want . They could work on the service levels -1 star. Pinball and arcade in the back, good fun there.

Not a fancy place but the service and food definitely makes up for it. The chicken in the quesadilla was the star of the show. So juicy and moist. The bartender was so nice and attentive. It?s definitely worth the visit for lunch. There were arcade games in another room too. It?s probably a great hangout spot for college students. But if nothing else? the chicken quesadilla omg!

A baltimore classic! No visit to Hampden is complete with out it! And don't turn down the Plop... it never disappoints!

I love dive bars and pinball. That said this place should have aced my requirements but it really didn't. Location just is just lacking atmosphere. Staff was pleasant enough when getting drinks at the bar, but waiting for 45 minutes for simple food even after enquiring several times just doesn't cut it.
