I visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. It wasn't crowded at all, which made it feel like we had the entire place to ourselves. The food was outstanding, featuring unique flavor combinations that fit the Guy Fieri style perfectly. You absolutely have to try the trash can nachos and the spicy chicken sandwich; they’re fantastic! The fries are the best I've ever had, and the drinks are really great too. Definitely stop by – it’s completely worth it!
In a new review from August 2018, I tried the meatloaf, which could have used more seasoning. There was plenty of mac and cheese, but only one slice of meatloaf, which was disappointing. The one in Philly is so much better. In January 2019, I had the crispy shrimp appetizer, which was very good, consisting of six large shrimp, though it could have used more dipping sauce. I also tried the brisket sliders, which were tasty and messy, but they could have benefited from more brisket. In October 2019, I had the crab cake. It was big and good, but not outstanding.
The restaurant features charming decor that reflects Guy Fieri's vibrant personality, as seen on the Food Network (check out the pictures below). The menu offers a wide variety of options to satisfy any palate. We started with the wings, which are generously sized and well-seasoned, making them a substantial meal on their own. For our second dish, we tried the Creole Shrimp Boil, served in a bowl with andouille sausage, potatoes, and shrimp. The broth was flavorful, with a mild heat that enhanced the overall taste. I particularly appreciated that the shrimp came pre-peeled, saving us the hassle typical of traditional boils. While the serving size may look smaller compared to what you’d expect from a classic boil, it’s surprisingly filling and hearty. We noticed many other dishes being served with generous portions and beautiful presentations.
