Bird In Hand - Baltimore

The food was somewhat pricey, which is to be expected at a restaurant of this caliber. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall ambiance of the place was both comfortable and inviting.

I absolutely adore this place! I'm visiting for the week, and today marks my third consecutive day of stopping by for coffee and a pastry. I've also picked up some graphic novels and coffee beans to take home. The coffee and food are fantastic, the ambiance is calming, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to come back every morning until I head home!

It's not easy to find places that really know how to make a good latte, but this spot is one of my favorites for espresso drinks. I should mention that I'm not much of a reader, but there's always something interesting on their shelves that grabs my attention. I also appreciate the complimentary water and the use of real glassware!

This is a great place to enjoy brunch while diving into a good book. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a relaxed vibe and a diverse crowd. My only concern is that they need more seating to accommodate the number of guests they attract. I would love to see them expand to include cozy couches and a fireplace—if they did, I might never want to leave! But perhaps that’s exactly why they don’t have those features, haha.

Bird in Hand is my favorite café and bookstore. Located right next to Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, it offers a fantastic breakfast and lunch menu featuring pastries, sandwiches, salads, and tamales, along with excellent coffee options. The atmosphere is cozy, and although it can get crowded during the school year, it's usually easy to find a table or a spot on the spacious front patio. The only downside is that I often end up purchasing a book along with my Greenhouse sandwich!
