Spirits Gyros - Ballwin

This has become our go-to spot once or twice a week! The gyros are outstanding. My daughter follows a gluten-free diet, and it's perfect for that since you can speak directly to the owner when placing your order. It's reassuring to know there's no risk of cross-contamination when the order is prepared right in front of you. This place is truly a hidden gem on Manchester Road, far away from the fast food chains. We highly recommend it!

I've always appreciated this restaurant for its delicious food, convenient location, and friendly staff, but my experience tonight has given me even more reasons to recommend it. As a single mother juggling two, sometimes three jobs, I had a long day today. After a full day of work and taking care of a friend's dogs, including a high-energy boxer that needed a lot of attention, I rushed back home to Ballwin to tend to my own pets before heading out again. Throughout my journey, I couldn't stop thinking about the gyro and falafel I wanted, so I was excited to pull into the Yiro/Gyro lot. However, I wasn't aware they were closing in just 15 minutes. Normally, I would have reconsidered going in, but the staff was incredibly friendly and prepared the most delicious meal for me on the spot. They even surprised me with a complimentary drink and two extra falafel! If you're looking for a fantastic, healthy meal in a clean and welcoming environment with outstanding customer service, you simply must visit Yiro/Gyro!

Finally, there’s a fantastic gyro spot in Ballwin/Ellisville! Donor Kebab is definitely the place to be. The donor bread is incredible. I was thrilled to find out that we no longer have to drive 45 minutes into the city for a good gyro!

If you haven't tried this place yet I recommend it 100% great, clean, fresh tasting food that will leave you craving more once you leave the door. The atmosphere is open and friendly and they prepare your food exactly how you want it!
