I worked in the restaurant before the ownership changed. A restaurant that has stood still in time. Vegetables were seasoned with chicken broth, menus were predominantly meat-based, and today's views on nutrition were mostly completely ignored. If you ordered a vegetable plate as a vegetarian, you had to reckon with the vegetables being contaminated with meat. The restaurant is recommended for those who are stuck in the 90s. However, those who live with today's zeitgeist will find it difficult to find the restaurant good. The reason for my dismissal at the time was that I set the restaurant's system against my ideas. For me, the guest is always in the foreground. Most guests go to a restaurant where they can recharge their batteries. A place where you feel comfortable. There were days when the employee sat with the guest and drank one or more glasses of wine with them. When a new guest enters the restaurant, while the person is sitting at the guest's table drinking wine, the waiter tells them to sit down somewhere. She will be with them soon. I could cite dozens of examples where the guest was not treated as a guest. If you should eat there, you should never speak to the current landlady again. For this person there is only their opinion. They don't give a damn about the opinion of the guests. To find out that this person is not communicative, all you have to do is offer suggestions for improvement (but in a pleasant and factual tone) and see how they take your tips. With this method you will see her true colors I worked there in 2021 and heard from reliable sources that not much has changed. However, because of my negative experiences with the current landlady, I have never gone back to the restaurant since then. So I can't say 100% that it's still that bad. However, I ask the restaurant visitor to tell the people here in more detail what has changed positively. Maybe someone will convince me to check it out anyway and see if it's really worth it. I would be happy to hear that things have changed for the better. The restaurant is well located and has great potential if given the right guidance for it. In my opinion, however, you have to bring a lot of things up to date. The hospitality industry is constantly changing and if you don't recognize it and go along with it, then you have a restaurant like the Sternen in Ballwil. Vegetarian options: When I worked there, most of the vegetables were cooked in chicken broth. As a vegetarian, in 2021 you could only drink one glass of water... Or you were fooled and ate vegetables seasoned with chicken broth. Am appetite Kid-friendliness: One employee (now the manager) once told me personally that she hates children. Child-friendly.... Well Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
