Drove here from Moneygall, thru the emerald green countryside, to this lakeside jewel!

What an absolutely awful experience. Treated differently because we are Americans? Either way we canceled the order and left. Gave one star because none isn't an option.

We were having any afternoon beer locally and this restaurant was recommended by the owner himself who was having a pint at the bar with us. We weren't disappointed. Varied menu. Very well priced. Views of the River Shannon from the dining room. Pizza was great. Fish and chips recommended. Ribs and steak others were having looked awesome. Took way to long to get the bill and pay the check maybe because for a Wednesday it was very busy but other than that highly recommended.

One star-no stars not an option on here. Straight away were treated different. Waitress looked at me like I had a dick growing outta my forehead when I asked why others were being served drinks when we had arrived prior to them. Waitress and staff absolutely overwhelmed and have no idea what 's going on. No management at all. Manager/lead waitress was unreceptive when asked to speak with us. Was totally uncaring. Paid for the wine my lady ordered, cancelled the order and left. Been here before for drinks. Not cool how Americans were treated. Never going back when visiting friends in Scariff.
