Bidrage med feedbackWe stayed at the Mecure for two nights. Wednesday night was very busy (probably relates to conferences they had in at the time) and we did have to wait a bit for our food but we enjoyed it. We chose the pork dish and the Beef Bourginon pot pie. The second night we chose off the luunch menu and ordered it before 6.00 and we were able to pick it up from the Bistro and take it back to our room as they do not provide room service. We both had the open steak sandwich (on Ciabatta roll) and great chips. Also enjoyed the buffet breakfast.
Everything on offer for a hearty breakfast to kickstart your day. Cereals, fresh fruit, range of juices, good coffee, range of breads with your fully cooked buffet breakfast. Quiet, intimate, wood fire ambience. Just lovely.
Went for dinner, they had no children's ham & pineapple pizza. Chiefs special was expensive and not much of side with it. The garden salad only had leaves in it with dressing. No Fanta soft drink
It's a bit rare to find this level of service in a situation catering to all tastes. We dined as a couple but Billy's was filled with such a varied crowd. Everyone looked to be enjoying their meals, which for us were awesome. Steak and barramundi both cooked to perfection.
The breakfast here was fairly standard fare although it did not reach really an average standard although it could have with a little more effort. The décor is old fashioned and fairly basic as well.
