Bidrage med feedbackI have dined at this restaurant multiple times for various events, and I have always enjoyed it! Ronnie and his team serve authentic and fresh Indian cuisine, and I always look forward to trying their newest dishes. If you are looking for the genuine experience, make sure to find East India – you will not be disappointed!
During our stay at Sebel Creswick and RACV Creswick, we had the opportunity to dine at Springs Cafe, where they featured different themed food trucks each night instead of their regular menu. One night, East India Trading offered Indian food, but what caught my attention was their Lebanese night. They had a Mezze Platter for $25 that included Lamb Koftas, Marinated chicken, Falafels, Babaghonush, Tzatiki, Hummus, mixed olives, stuffed vine leaves, Lebanese Bread, and pickled vegetables. The food was fantastic, with tender, juicy, and delicious meats and falafel. However, I felt that the portion sizes were too small for the price, as I have had larger Mezze Platters for a similar price in Melbourne. Despite this, I must commend the impeccable food quality and excellent customer service at the food van.
We stumbled upon the East India Food truck near our neighborhood and decided to stop by with our kids for a quick tea. The service was very friendly and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary pappadam while we waited. We ordered a few appetizers, two main dishes, and some rice, all of which were ready in just 7 minutes. The garlic naan was outstanding and the butter chicken was exceptional. This is definitely a place worth visiting!
We had the butter chicken with rice, chips with cheese and curry, and naan bread. The flavours were beautiful, with being able to taste each spice used, and not the normal just add heat curry you usually receive. The curry is worth the wait.
We have been here a few times and love it. The chips, cheese curry is a great idea and the service is always friendly. Will keep coming back!
