Wow what a beautiful experience. The Rump was absolutely cooked cooked to perfection. The Blue cheese Jelepeno sauce was a was a wonderful gastronomical experience, with it's superb burst of flavors. The waitress was great, allowing us the space we needed, without neglecting us. The manager was great and handled the Loadshedding superbly. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The place was very empty compared to all the other establishments around it, so that made us a bit concerned about ordering. We decided to stay and it was worth the while... The food is amazing and where the food or service doesn't live up to its standards the owner steps up. My favorite was the chicken strips and chips. Yes I said chicken strip and chips! they are simply amazing, light and crispy. We had an issue with one of the rump steak combos of which we ordered two and the owner handle the situation professionally and replaced the meal as well. I suppose in the end the emptiness of the venue ended up being a benifit because we had the whole place to ourselves and could eat our food in a nice family only setting. Will deff go there again

Took my family here for a truly fantastic dinner! The waiter was amazing and attentive and very engaged. The food was supered, the meat was amazing and cooked to perfection! I wish the butchers block restaurant all the best, please keep the excellent quality food and service

Food was superb. Staff are very helpful and the management actually care if you are enjoying yourself and if you are happy with the service. The steaks were soft and well prepared. Would highly recommened the ribeye with a biltong and jalapeno sauce. Will be make regular trips just for the steak alone.

The atmosphere at Butcher Block Ballito is fantastic, featuring beautifully rustic yet elegant new furnishings. The food is delicious, well-prepared, and served piping hot, which is definitely a plus. Our chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy, and using the right carving knives made the experience even better. While the food was exceptional, the service we received at our table was quite lacking. We waited 45 minutes between ordering drinks and our food, and then an additional hour for our food to arrive after placing the order. Our waitress seemed to be playing hide and seek throughout the afternoon and appeared to be poorly trained. Whenever we tried to get the attention of other waitstaff gathered at a nearby table, they would just direct us back to our assigned waitress outside. Considering there were only two other occupied tables at that time, this was neither reasonable nor acceptable. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, and I would return for the food if I have some time to spare.
