Average Joe's Pizza - Baldwinsville

Wow, is this place just a great hidden gem ! I am reluctant to rate/post/publicize as such though only because I also really appreciate their locals/cozy nature/atmosphere here as well. I am new to the area after having been a local/regular at certain supposed locals type establishments elsewhere for more than 30yrs Avg Joe 's has already made me feel more local, and more welcomed than I had been previously, nearly anywhere! I am rapidly (and gladly becoming a regular here and will be as long as they keep Colleen Sarah in particular who after even only my 3rd time back both recognized greeted me by name and already knew my selections preferences, to let me know about their availability offer them, plus comparables. They have a great mix of events, including Trivia nights, Live Music nights (where they attract great talent, as well as crowds! all the while balancing that out about as adeptly as I 've ever experienced any establishment, again with the recognizing their local(s clients/regulars making them still feel truly welcomed, appreciated comfortable as well.

The food and service were great. The prices are very low. We haven't seen Jason in a few years, a great bartender. The only problem is the jukebox was way too loud to have conversations with friends.

Good food at good prices. Was here the night Pop Rox performed and it was great! One of the bartenders was pouring shots into people's mouth from top of the bar. Only bad thing was one set of restrooms were closed, but, I guess $h!t happens.

I've been trying new pizza places in the area and figured I'd give this one a shot. Let me tell you, it was a big mistake. I didn't even end up eating it and bought pizza from somewhere else. The crust was burnt to a crisp and hard as a rock at the top, but the underneath of the pizza was undercooked? Not sure how that happened. The pizza was basically cold, the pepperoni was burnt but also undercooked, the cheese was rubbery, and the sauce tasted like someone put a can of regular tomato sauce on it and called it a day. Waste of money. No thanks.

This bar is fantastic, with excellent service and consistently outstanding bands performing.
