Rob's Grill - Baldwin Park

Last time I came here they got my order completely wrong, I had to drive all the way back after arriving home already. Usually I go here for the Cowboy salad, it 's good sized and pretty filling. This night I wanted to try something different, big mistake. As I pulled up to the drive-thru someone played a closed recording on the speakers, since there was a car at the window I was gonna back out. Then someone came on the speakerphone and asked to take my order. (I could hear laughing in the background) it was very rude, but I was a good sport and decided to order anyway. I hadn 't a chance to check out the rest of the menu yet, so I asked them to wait a second, she agreed in a not so nice tone....I asked about the chicken sandwich combo, I was rushed and the girl at the window suggested it would be good to pull up...but I wasn 't done ordering. (My son wanted onion rings) , then she forgets to ask what drink I wanted. So I pull up, I was charged $25.00! It was steep, but ok as long as the food is good. Someone else hands be my food, before I can ask for ketchup, she slammed the window in my face. After waiting 15 min in the drive-already I was getting frustrated. The original girl opened the window and rudely asked what I needed, I asked for ketchup, she plopped 5 in my hand and two fell on the ground. She snarks and says sorry laughing at what the fry cook was saying. I guess he didn 't realize that I speak Spanish, he said hurry up so I (meaning me) can go already . Very rude. I get home and the bread on the sandwich was old a had that yeast smell. I had to throw the bun away. The fries were hot, but some were under cooked, and the ice in my drink had all melted so I had a watery soda. The onion rings were great but they gave only one little container of ranch! I 'll be looking for a new salad place, Lol.

We tried this restaurant out of curiosity! It was very spacious inside and had a lot tables and chairs. Ample parking space as well. If you like comfort food, then this the place to be. Big servings and prices are reasonable. So far, we have tried the following dishes: Clam Chowder Very rich creamy. A lot clams in it. Almondigas A little bit salty, but good. Rib Eye Steak I had ordered this with rice and it tastes good! The steak was flavorful. Spaghetti I was surprised that they offer this dish here! Generous amount of ground beef. It reminds more of a Spaghetti Bolognese in terms of the sauce and flavor. I think it would taste better with less salt with it. Pastrami Melt This was good and tasty. Great customer service too! Good place to eat with friends and family.

Absolutely love this place! Hamburgers are so delicious, fries are the best. Only suggestion would be to make a phone order because they make your food when you order which is great.
