Captain's Cafe - Balclutha

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a satisfying lunch! The staff is extremely friendly and gave me a great suggestion to try the chicken tenders when I was unsure of what to order. I highly recommend this place! The only thing I would suggest is to possibly rename the dish to "Chicken tenders and coleslaw" instead of "chicken tenders and salad", but regardless, the meal was delicious!

The wraps with chicken were very delicious! The staff was friendly and the rooms had a retro vibe. The restaurant may be unassuming, but it was really great!

Went out for a meal tonight with my daughter. We ordered seafood platter shared it. It was scrumptious! Piece fish, prawn twister, squid, mussels, prawn cocktail, chips. A huge compliment to the chef. Recommend it to seafood lovers. Waiter was off his feet as it was steady however he handled it so well with his friendliness, demeanor and the way he served in the pressure of the night. Thank you. Will certainly be returning there for another meal some time soon.

This place is amazing, haven't been for a while but **** happy we did me and my brother got fantastic service from the staff, truly and the food my gosh I had the breakfast stack and wow .... Please try it if your hungover its 10/10 ... Little brother had the nachos and wow addictive much, cheers CAPTAIN CAFE BALCLUTHA, my brothers a regular and you gained a new fan

Good food and polite service. Meal sizes were very good. Loved our meal.
