I decided to break my journey back from holiday from west Wales to home in talacre and give my dog a walk round the lake when I spotted this dog friendly cafe. I'm so glad I did I had the best cheese and beans jacket potato I've ever tasted in both quality and quantity the coleslaw and salad were not an after thought as in most places but lovely and substantial. And what a lovely position to sit inside or outside to view the lake. Would recommend to anyone. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We stopped for a late lunch on the way to Machynlleth. The service was quick and friendly, the portions of food generous and tasty and the location idyllic even in the rain. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Worst soup I’ve ever had, extremely salty, very thick bits in, the bread given was a joke: very thin and cheap with more butter than bread. Do not recommend, not worth the price. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Had a bad experience last month and i thought may be it was a one off so tried again this week and exactly the same. The middle aged lady (possibly the manager) is specifically quite rude. The first time we went she was staring for a while and straight came to us and said the toilets are for customers only assuming we were not customers. The second time too shae stared for a while came down running to tell that they are stopping service in the middle of the day to cleanup and suggested we move out straight away .. am not sure its just our bad luck twice or some strange customer handling skills of them. Disgraceful to say the least Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
